Art Music Camp
In The Box
A music, visual, and performing arts camp. Here is an opportunity to expose your children to several unique art forms, all in one camp. We reveal to students a broad range of experiences allowing them to identify new areas of interest that they may want to pursue.
MUSIC
Experience breakout ensemble groups daily to create, develop & compose. Rehearse compositions. Experience song- crafting through Music Theory. Student will perform Friday, on Box stage.
INSTRUMENTS:Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Violin, Mandolin and voice. ALL GENRES!
ART
Develop skills in various medium and explore possibilities in art.
Students will paint, design, & sculpt, as well as work in ceramics & printmaking.
Experience authentic art materials and create sophisticated works of art.
Increase skill, technique, understanding, and appreciation of the arts.
PERFORMANCE
Develop an understanding of stage performing while exploring talents & ideas. Work collaboratively with fellow campers toward a common goal.
Camp Curriculum
Students will be placed into groups based on age.
They have the option to rotate through all four classes experiencing everything, working in various class-rooms, studios, and stage area throughout the Box Factory.
This is a rare opportunity to see artists working in their creative environments, and become a part of that energy. Oh yes, and they will probably have an amazing and fun week.
